Feb. 28, 2012 - Dalton - Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich kicked off a two day bus tour with a stop in Dalton Tuesday morning. After his speech he greeted and signed autographs for most of the members of the crowd. The election had lots of ups and downs. For awhile, Georgia's own Newt Gingrich was the front runner, and he used his home field advantage to win the Georgia primary. Bob Andres bandres@ajc.com
