| Caption | 110428 - Bartow County - The tornado damage in is this Bartow County neighborhood was overwhelming. I coundn't count the number of houses destroyed (DNR later told me 13) but there was nothing left except for a large debris field. I was looking for a way give the scene some scale when I saw Billy Tellup helping to clear debris from what was one of his neighbors homes. The effort seemed futile given the massiveness of the destruction, and his determination was inspiring. I am amazed that no one was killed here even though many were home when the storm hit.
